Tech workers: we used to be pampered Instagram raccoons - living for the aesthetic, optimising for comfort. Now we live in Toronto. And Toronto raccoons don't wait for someone to leave the lid off. Your career is yours. It always was - but when the market was hot, it didn't seem like you needed to think about it. Now you do. This session is about being the DRI, Directly Responsible Individual, for your own career: the power you actually have to shape it, how to build yourself when no one's offering to, and getting coachable enough to grow from the hard moments. This topic is personal, so there are no clear answers - we'll give you some structures and prompts to help you figure out what makes sense for you.
