Jean Mahoney
Jean is the Director of RPC Communications and Strategy at the RFC Production Center, which is the team of professional editors that prepares and publishes RFCs. She is also a Secretary for the General Area Review Team (Gen-ART).
Previously, Jean has served as Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, Senior Technical Editor at Tekelec, solo technical writer at Estacado Systems, and Documentation Manager at Cisco, with a focus on documenting requirements and implementations of Session Initiation Protocol and Diameter servers. Jean has also been a co-chair of the SIPCORE and ASAP working groups and a reviewer for the Applications and Real-Time Area Review Team (artart).
Jean enjoys creating gardens to support pollinators and wildlife, spinning and weaving fiber, collecting rocks, and making jewelry. She is based in Plano, Texas.
